Its slim, smaller and holds many unexpected surprises. The PS3 slim has a a matte finish which wont let get your fingertips on the console. The PS3 slim has the same shape as that of original PS3 but is noticeably lighter. For slim Sony didn’t think of bringing down the PSU outside the body like Xbox 360. No power brick. Because of the slim size Sony reduced the USB ports to 2 and there is no card reader. Also the slim version is not stable in vertical position unlike your previous fat one. The power and eject touch button have changed to actual push buttons.

When Transformer 2 game was run on the slim and the original version console, the disc drive was louder in the slimmer. The slim got somewhere between 25-33 dB and the fat got 22-30 dB.

Well, talking about the good part: the good part is that it has got matted finish and the bad part is that it has reduced vents.

As I have said earlier in the post that the slim is unstable in vertical position, a special stand is available for this purpose. Its nor free, but is priced at $24 , 8% of the price of console ($300). Is it worth that ?

Let’s hope Sony take a strong head over the slim bad side.

The first glimpses of Sony’s new S-Series was leaked by a french based entertainment retailer, material.net . The updated specifications of this phone are attractive. This slam-dunk features 2.4 inches QVGA LCD screen with built-in stereo speakers to enjoy music loud. Sony say it has 42 H of audio and 6.2 H of video battery life, but obviously at 128kbps music quality. It is compatible with i-tunes and windows media player. Video quality is upto 30fps. It supports almost all formats of audio files. The earphones that come along with this hand-set are not so great which does not include digital amplifier and clear bass. Sony is trying to offer a audio/video player with good functionalities at reasonable price.

HTC Hero, the newly launched cell phone from hTc promises all things that a mobile geek requires.HTC Hero is the first phone to embody HTC Sense, a a seamless expereince built on three fundamentals -make it mine, stay close, and discover the unexpected.I bet If you have some important contents in your phone you would bury it into folders, rather HTC Hero lets you put it at a glance view with a selections of widgets that can be placed on your home screen. These widgets itself can be personalised into various designs that best matches your personality.

HTC hero makes stay close as simple as turning to your friend and saying hello to them. HTC Hero let you stay close to people in your life with text exchanges, email conversations, facebook updates, flickr photo album and many more intresting features.

Although many of its feature are similar to its siblings, hte HTC Sense technology make it unique among all.

The critics are to the point that HTC Hero is better than i -phone but works slower than its counterparts.
